“I’ve planned this new home for a while and now living in it is everything that I had hoped for. Lander Sherman was great to work with; they made and met commitments and were genuinely interested in making me satisfied. A few unanticipated situations came up during the building process and Tony and John dealt with me fairly and made sure I was happy with the solutions. 9th St. Lofts is a first class development and I thoroughly enjoy being in the city with all its amenities close at hand."
Ted Ferrara, 9th Street Lofts

"The thing that sold us on 9th Street was the people who we worked with throughout the process and a good experience we had had with a previous Lander project."
Rick Hanson, 9th Street Lofts

“I’ve lived in lofts in Manhattan and know how great it is to live close to work. My wife works in downtown Saint Paul, so we decided to look into what was available. After we saw some Lander Sherman lofts and talked to a few people, Lander Sherman became all that we were interested in.

Lander Sherman’s finished product is second to none.”
Josh Rosefelt, Printer’s Row

“First and foremost, I fell in love with the Lander design. People visiting me always comment on the great little details – the interior window in the kitchen, the slat wall, the natural light, how big it feels. But, as a first time homebuyer, I did my research beyond the aesthetics. In looking for a condo, I saw a wide range of construction types and homeowner’s fees – I knew that the quality of construction was important in keeping my association dues down and for limiting unforeseen costs down the road. With the company’s track record, I felt confident that I was getting a good home.

Once I made my decision, the sales team was great in helping me through the home buying process, and continues to be a resource to me even now. After living in my home for three years, I am still thrilled. If I ever move, I’ll be looking for another
Lander home!”
Jane Sherman, 21st Avenue Lofts

We began our search to become part of the return to urbanism almost two years ago. Both Twin Cities were a bee-hive of construction activity with condo lofts and condo conversions popping up seemingly on every corner. The process of investigating the builders and their feel for community, led us to Lander Sherman. It was immediately evident that here was a developer who recognized the value in building and designing “green” environmentally friendly spaces that fit into a neighborhood; that added a spirit to that neighborhood without diminishing the sense of community already in place.

On numerous occasions we have blistered the sales office with questions of every variety from the sublime to the ridiculous. They were of course all very important to us and some were in fact quite urgent. They were without exception, dealt with in a timely and thoroughly professional manner. Our experience with Tony Kriha has been one of straightforward trust and complete reliance on his ability to deliver exceptional service at every opportunity.”

“It is rare to find a developer like Lander Sherman who cares so much about making the buyer happy even after closing has occurred.”
Jennifer Denys, Printer’s Row (formerly of Essex on the Park)

“When we first visited the Lander Sherman Printer’s Row show room, we soon realized that this was going to be a fit for our lifestyle. We wanted an urban neighborhood with retail shops, restaurants, sport and theatre events, farmers market, and river vistas all within walking distance. We are triathletes and were thrilled to have a home located immediately adjacent to a plethora of biking routes and running paths outside our doorway. We immediately fell in love with the floorplan as it provided the natural lighting, open spaces, and contemporary look we wanted and at the same time allowed spaces for our work offices, entertaining, hosting overnight guests, and storing our athletic equipment for every day use.

We are impressed by the Lander Group Wacouta Commons philosophy which provides homes with high quality design and craftsmanship, promotes a diverse neighborhood, and builds responsible community partnerships with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. The unique and contemporary design of the Printer’s Row building reminded us of architecture we saw in Stockholm, Sweden. Looking out our windows at a mirror of our building and at the native Minnesota landscaped street dotted with street lights provided a warm, intimate neighborhood feeling within a downtown setting that we fell in love with and could visualize ourselves strolling down as we frequent the many urban venues.
